GROWING IN RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD AND MAN

Psalms 107:20-21 And Jeremiah 33:3

Almighty God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, thank you for your interest in our relationship with you and our fellowman.  Since you are the source of our being, we must have a proper relationship with you in order to have right and satisfying relationships with one another here on Earth.   Father, we desire a growing relationship with you in all areas of our lives.  We know that you are listening to our prayers and that you are answering them as we pray.  We are inspired to pray more intimately because of the vastness of your power to answer us.  You told us to call upon you and that you would answer us and show us great and mighty things that we know not of.   Father, we are calling.  Yes, calling with purpose and intensity.  We see the need to know truth and righteousness daily.  There is a need to acknowledge our lack of fulfillment in our daily relationships that only you can give us your power to satisfy.  We sometimes fall short of your glory in honoring one another.  Forgive us this wrong and minister your grace to help us fulfill the law of Christ.  Father, send the rain to purify and strengthen our hearts to love with holy and righteous love for you and each other here on Earth.

 

Father there is a pleading descriptive metaphor that describes the longings within our hearts: “ Lord Send The Rain.”  There is the withering of our love for you and each other.  “Lord Send The Rain”.  Confirm your inheritance with the rain of your power to carry out our given responsibilities that you have given us.  Awake us to love and do right by each other here on Earth.  Father, heal the hurt of us your people among the many that have a desire to please you in all things.
