A LEVEL OF INTIMACY

Psalms 42:1/ Psalms 45:1-2/ Psalms 30:5-11

Father and Friend, Lover and Keeper, Shepherd and Master, thank you for a level of intimacy that creates holy hunger after you.   As the deer pant after the water brooks, so our souls pant after thee.  We breathe heavily for the breath of the Spirit to breathe on us a fresh touch of adoration in respect to your love for our soul.  Our desire is to wholly respond to you in holy adoration.  We need the intercession of the Spirit who knows what brings you pleasure.  Father, since you find pleasure in us; it is a great thing in our eyes to be a pleasurable vessel of honor in your sight.  It’s an honor to know that our faith pleases you.   In you we boast all the day long, and praise thy name among us forever.

 

You have poured grace into our lips.  We have believed; and therefore we speak.  Our tongue is the pen of a ready writer as our heart think upon the things you have revealed concerning your Kingdom and our place in it.  We acknowledge that in your Kingdom we have been anointed with the oil of gladness.  Because of your love for us, you have given us songs in the night seasons of our lives.  Your also rejoices over us with singing.  You are a great lover of our souls.  We cannot help but love you because you have first shown this great love to us.  You have in your great love for us, given us a garment of righteousness to come before your presence to present ourselves to you.  You have turned for us our mourning into dancing and girded us with gladness.  What a blessed relationship we have with you.

 

Father, thank you that your love in us exhibits something to others that bears witness to their spirit that your love is touching them.
