THE POWER OF PEACE

 Great Prince of Peace, Almighty God, Our Father, thank you for peace and the prosperity accompanying your peace.  We are prosperous in peace because we have become peacemakers.  As much as is within us, we follow peace with all men.  We know from your word that without your peace and holiness, no man shall see you in Peace.  Thank you for the gift of Peace that causes us to be peacemaker from your image in us.  The glory of peace is beyond the realm of sight.  The Peace that we have in you is passes all understanding.

 

 

Father, your Word teaches us that you are the God of peace. It teaches us that you have brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, who is the great shepherd of the sheep.  It is through the blood of the everlasting covenant that we have true peace.

 

We express thanks for your power to make us perfect in every good work to do your will as you work out in us that, which is well pleasing in your sight through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever.  Amen.
