THE SOVEREIGNTY OF GOD

I Chronicles 29:10-20 And Psalms 47: 1-9

Holy and Righteous Father, Lover of our Soul, Friend of our Life, Author of our Destiny, Giver of Every Good and Perfect Gift:  how sweet and honorable it is to be one with you in your Kingdom.  Your sovereign rule over us allows us the joy of knowing that you are watching over our soul.  Oh great and mighty Shepherd, thank you for a life shaped by your Kingdom principles and your Sovereignty in it.  For to your honor are the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory.  Truly, all that is in Heaven and in Earth belongs to you.  To you belong the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty.  It all belongs to your Sovereign dominion.  We are but sons and daughters being trained to reign with you in your Kingdom. 

 

Father, You are King of kings and Lord of lords; both riches and honor come of thee.  You are the LORD SOVEREIGN over all.  In your hand is power and might.  It is in your hand to make great and to give strength unto all.  From this astounding recall of your majesty, we give praise to thy glorious name.

 

How do we find the strength to bring such praise and honor to your name?  Because we understand that all things come of thee and those things that we praise you for came from you. Father, be magnified in our praise as we continually lift you up for the world to see.  In Jesus Name…Amen.
